Wholey Sight Words

Enhance visual closure and reading skills through engaging daily video exercises. This course targets the crucial skill of visual closure – the ability to recognize words and objects when only partially visible. As well as sight word recognition. Improving these skills will increase reading fluency

These 4-minute videos gradually reveal word fragments using a carefully curated list of sight words from the Dolch and Fry lists appropriate for your student’s grade level. This challenges your student to recognize the complete word as quickly as possible, training their brain to fill in missing visual information efficiently.

Visual Closure Mastery isn’t just about improving reading speed and building a solid foundation for overall academic success. Students develop better reading fluency, enhanced sight word recognition, and improved spelling by strengthening visual closure skills. These improvements reduce the cognitive load associated with decoding words, freeing up mental resources for deeper comprehension and analysis of text.
